Pamela Portnoy

Pamela is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies. She attended the Midsummer in Oxford Program through the British American Drama Academy, and the Stanislavsky Summer School through the partnership between the Moscow Art Theatre School and Harvard University. In 2022, she produced and co-starred in the short film HARBOR which was an Official Selection at the Academy Award Qualifying Indyshorts International Film Festival and the Catalina Film Festival.

Harbor was also nominated for three awards (Best Drama Short, Best Acting Duo, and Best Cinematography of the Year) at the Indie Short Fest of the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, where she and co-star Jack Norris won “Best Acting Duo.” Most recently, she produced INTERIOREM PUERI, which is an Official Selection at the 2025 Regina International Film Festival, and the Chain Film Festival in New York City. The short film also made the Cleveland International Film Festival 2025 Hotlist. She is currently in pre-production for her first feature film, BAD SLEEP which will be filmed in Minnesota in the fall of 2025.

Trained in classical theater, Pamela has performed in numerous stage productions and has been featured in various commercials, web series, and independent films. Her credits include performances in John Patrick Shanley’s THE DREAMER EXAMINES HIS PILLOW at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, the Repertory East Playhouse’s production of SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE FINAL ADVENTURE, Investigation Discovery’s, MARRIED WITH SECRETS, and NOVA VITA on Amazon.
